Santo Domingo. – The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (Minerd) reported that since today more than 41 thousand students from Basic educationMiddle and Secondary education will be evaluated in the second call for the 2024 National Tests.
The Director of Quality Assessment at Minerd, Yanile Valenzuela, said that there is support from district, regional and national directors and technicians for the coordination and supervision of this process.
He indicated that today, Saturday, August 10, and tomorrow, Sunday, August 11, more than 14,000 students of Basic and Secondary Adult Education and Preparatory will take exams for the 2024 school year and those pending from previous years.
He said that on Saturday, the Mathematics and Social Sciences tests will be offered, while on Sunday, the students summoned will have to take the Spanish Language and Natural Sciences tests, in the selected host centers throughout the country.
At the Secondary level, more than 26,000 students from the 2023-2024 school year and pending from 2023 are called for Tuesday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th.
Valenzuela said that on Tuesday the 13th they will take exams in Mathematics and Social Sciences, while on Wednesday they will take the tests in Spanish Language and Natural Sciences.
