The Minister of Education, Roberto Fulcar, yesterday led the act of the first pierce for the construction of two daycare centers in the Cristo Rey sector of the National District.
The project includes the construction of the Estancia Infantil Cristo Rey I and Estancia Infantil Cristo Rey II, where each one will offer services for 250 infants, aged from one month old to four years old; They will also have education, food and nursing services throughout the day, totally free.
During the act, Fulcar highlighted the boys and girls of the popular sector of the capital, pointing out that he fights for them, “because every time we plant a school, we are saving money from prisons.”
“The more education and better education we have, the less delinquency we will have, less crime, less domestic violence, less aggression; The more and better education we have, the more opportunities we give our boys and girls, our young people and adolescents to succeed in life,” the official pointed out.
He also explained that the two children’s stays are for boys and girls to see their right to education materialized and to build their future.
On his side, Dr. Félix A. Cruz Jiminián praised the effort of the Government headed by President Luis Abinader for taking Christ the King into account on several occasions. Similarly, he justified the need for the sector to have children’s enclosures due to absenteeism in the home of some parents due to the work commitment they assume.

Roberto Fulcar announced that the 55 citizen chairs taught by the Ministry of Education are part of the agreement he made with the Constitutional Court in November 2020, which establishes the creation of the “Constitution Chair” within the program taught at all pre-university levels. of the Dominican Republic: initial, primary and secondary.
