Minera Southern donates 60 tons of oxygen for hospitals in Arequipa

“In response to the request of the Essalud authorities and the National Center for Strategic Resources (CEMARES) of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the company Southern Peru ordered the donation of 60 tons of liquid oxygen to supply the Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo and Honorio Delgado de Arequipa,” the company reported in a statement.

The donation will imply that 40 tons are destined for the first of both hospitals and 20 tons for the second.

“Last weekend, the transportation service Linde Perú SRL, collected the liquid oxygen from the Ilo Smelter of Southern Peru and transferred the first 15 tons to the isotank of the Hospital Seguín Escobedo de Essalud and 5 tons to the Honorio Delgado del Minsa Hospital,” the company specified.
