Yirimel Real, from the company Sourcing Panama, spoke about their experience as local suppliers to Minera Panama and asked the Government to resume the visitor program so that the population can observe the reality of the mining sites.
He believes that the situation of local suppliers must be known and that there is still an opportunity to reopen mining in Panama.
He also asked the Government for “the opportunity to demonstrate that responsible mining is possible and is proudly carried out in Panama.”
