Minem: from February a S/63 discount voucher will be delivered to purchase gas cylinders

The Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) reported that starting in February they will deliver a S/63 discount voucher to vulnerable families to purchase.

“The S/63 vouchers that will be specifically for places like the Convention, among others, that will have differentiated attention because they are in producing areas”indicated Carlos Renato De los Santos, general director of Hidrocarburos-Minem.

Among the residents where this S/63 voucher will begin to be delivered are: Kimbiri, Incahuasi, Pichari, Villa Virgen, among others.

In dialogue with TV Peru, De los Santos recalled that there is currently a S/25 voucher that is delivered to 940,000 families throughout Peru.

“However, there has always been a voucher for S/32 for producing areas. This somehow differentiated voucher is now reaching S/43 and S/63. Well, areas such as Cusco, Ucayali, Piura and Tumbes have always had another type of attention because, because they are in producing or urban-rural or rural areas, they are always far from getting a more adequate price for gas supply.”he explained.
