Public servants of the Ministry of People’s Power for Water Services participated in the information session for the use of the new Digital Passage System (VeTicket and Tticket), as part of the work carried out by the Great Transportation Mission Venezuela.
The activity was carried out at the headquarters of Hidrocapital, located in Maripérez in the Libertador municipality of Caracas, where the political coordinator of the National Urban Transport Fund Foundation (Fontur), Carlos Velázquez, explained that said action is intended to eradicate cash collection as planned.
He explained that the first system is VeTicket, which will be used through the QR code and the Patria wallet platform to cancel the surface transport ticket that has the blue label, while the second mechanism is Tticket, which will be canceled with a debit card in the Caracas Metro and Sitssa transportation.
Velázquez argued that some of the benefits are speeding up the entrance to the transport unit, eliminating the use of cash, respecting the established rates and generating greater security for the user and the professional driver.
Meanwhile, the popular water management worker, Gabriel Sanabria, pointed out: “it seems to me that within the concept of protecting the people and the salary of the Venezuelan, it is positive because it creates a control and monitoring mechanism for the operation of public transport.”
