Who was Milton Morales Figueroa?
Milton Morales Figueroa, 40, served as General Coordinator of the Tactical Strategy and Special Operations Unit of the SSC-CDMX. García Harfuch regrets his death
Omar García Harfuch, former head of the SSC during Claudia Sheinbaum’s government, deeply regretted the murder of Morales Figueroa. “May our friend and colleague Milton rest in peace. An extremely generous man, extraordinary researcher, great Mexican and above all a great friend. As a team we will find those responsible as we have always done,” Harfuch expressed on his social networks.
Pablo Vázquez, current head of the SSC, also condemned the murder and assured that they will work in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office and the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico to find those responsible. “To his family, I send a fraternal and supportive hug, know that you can count on us in this Secretariat and that we will not rest until we arrest the aggressors. We will not take a step back; we will redouble our efforts in our fight for peace and security,” wrote the secretary.
