According to a report by the Ministry of Security of Jalisco, two men were captured in the municipality of Teocaltiche who had two rifles, a grenade, loaders and other pertrences for military use.
About 90 kilos of marijuana were also seized as well as numerous crystal doses and five kilos of cocaine.

While in the neighboring municipality of Villa Hidalgo two other alleged men who had four vehicles were arrested, two of them with an artisanal armor and are called “monster” by the authorities.
The operation deployed in Villa Hidalgo was carried out after the kidnapping and release of Brenda Marisol Montañez Saucedo wife of the municipal president, Jaime Cruz Villalpando, allegedly perpetrated by a criminal cell of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), which demanded the dismissal of the municipal security secretary.
