Military Parade Celebrated for the 182 years of independence

From the early hours of the afternoon, George Washington Avenue began to receive thousands of families who, with babies in their arms, children on their shoulders, restless teenagers and elderly people with a slow pace, came to the military parade 2026 with which the Dominican Republic celebrated its 182 years of National Independence.

The event, called in honor of the feat proclaimed by the founding fathers, among them Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez and Matías Ramón Mella, had the tone solemn of the great commemorations and, at the same time, festive spontaneity.
