A sergeant of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) was arrested for allegedly committing the crimes of disobedience and insubordination, according to military sources.
The detainee is Third Class Sergeant Julio César Acurero Castellanos, attached to the GNB’s Zone 23 Command, according to the report.
The 9th Military Court of Control of Táchira ordered him to be confined in the Department of Military Prosecutions located in Santa Ana of the aforementioned entity, according to ticket No. 006-2022.
The crimes were allegedly committed by Acurero Castellanos while he was on commission in Trujillo.
And in the La Popa sector, San Cristóbal municipality (Táchira), the military arrested Edwin Jesús Colmenares Villamizar (39), requested by the 3rd Control Court of Táchira, for drug possession.
