A man of US nationality was arrested in Táchira because he allegedly entered Venezuela through one of those illegal roads called trails, according to military sources.

The arrest of the subject was carried out by members of the National Anti-extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) in the La Popa sector, San Antonio del Táchira, border with Cúcuta, Colombia.

The detainee is Christian Del Toro Sanabria, who did not have an entry stamp to Venezuelan territory and stated that he had entered the country through a trail that borders Colombia, says the report.

The detainee was placed at the order of the Administrative Identification Service (Saime). Said procedure was notified to the General Directorate of National Counterintelligence (Dgcim).
