«Militarily, Venezuela has a level of preparation that we have never had before»

Nicolás Maduro assured that since the United States deployed militarily in the Caribbean, in Venezuela the ruling party has become stronger: “Today we are stronger.” However, he sent a message to Trump in which he asked him to leave the country still.

“Militarily, Venezuela has a level of preparation that we have never had before,” said Nicolás Maduro this Wednesday, November 12, from an event in the town of Cagua, Aragua state.

He also maintained that every day the “powerful national union” of citizens and the National Armed Forces (FAN) is increasingly present.

Maduro’s statements about high military preparation come just one day after the aircraft carrier Gerald Ford, the largest warship in the world, arrived in the waters of the Caribbean to fight against drug trafficking that leaves South America and to combat organizations that profit from this business.

The Ministry of Defense reported that almost 200 thousand officials were deployed throughout the national territory to confront the United States and that training is maintained in the face of any possible attack.

In that sense, he indicated that the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) organizes millions of men and women in the new Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees to defend the homeland from US attacks.

According to Maduro, the threat from the United States, which the ruling party claims seeks a regime change in the country, has strengthened them: “15 weeks after this escalation of psychological warfare, of military threat, began, today we are stronger, from a constitutional and institutional point of view. We are stronger, five public powers functioning and strong,” he emphasized.

During his speech, he sent a message to Donald Trump’s administration: “Let no one mess with us and to imperialism we say: ‘Far away from here, leave Venezuela behind (…) What Venezuela wants is to work to prosper'”
