Milestone unveiled four million 400 thousand homes in Aragua

The sectoral vice president of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, delivered the milestone, four million 400 thousand, in the Mario Briceño Iragorry municipality of Aragua state, located in the Caña de Azúcar parish towards five million homes for the Homeland.

Accompanied by the governor, Karina Carpio, the head of the Social Cabinet handed over the keys to families who lost their homes after heavy rainfall in Las Tejerías, in the aforementioned jurisdiction a total of 440 homes were delivered.

“Built at a higher speed to care for families who suffered total loss and serious damage in the Las Tejerías emergency,” said the vice president of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado.

For his part, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that “all the families that had a total loss have their homes insured.”

He explained that, in the affected areas of Las Tejerías, a phase of demolition of structures that are close to the channel of the ravine will begin in order to foresee future situations such as the one that occurred in the El Béisbol sector.

“House demolished, house built. Everyone will have their home, beloved town of Las Tejerías (…) We are committed to all the families that suffered total loss, this town is not orphaned, the town has a Government, it has a Revolution, it has someone to embrace it and protect it”, he stressed.

The information was released this Thursday during a new housing delivery day led by the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro Morostogether with his work team, from the “Simón Bolívar” urbanism of Ciudad Tiuna, of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela (GMVV), located in the Libertador municipality of Caracas.
