“Thanking my God that I had the opportunity on April 29 to see Miguel Mora, my husband, who continues to resist with unshakable faith in the cells of El Chipote, where he is unjustly imprisoned,” said the journalist in an interview. with Article 66.

He pointed out that during the visit that lasted two hours, the prisoner of conscience said that “in that place and in those moments of pain, anguish and loneliness, only God is his refuge, strength and help.”
He added that although he does not suffer from any chronic disease, “no one who has been in prison for more than 10 months can be well, only God with his power is the one who spiritually sustains and gives strength to Miguel and to each of the political prisoners who go through so many sufferings.” ».

On February 9, Miguel Mora was sentenced to 13 years in prison, for allegedly “conspiring to undermine national integrity.” The verdict was handed down by the Second Criminal District Judge for Trials, Nadia Camila Tardencilla.
