Migrant in the US sent his mother money for a house, but what she decided to do devastated him

Migrante en EEUU le envió dinero a su madre para una casa, pero lo que ella decidió hacer lo devastó

There are many Mexicans in migrant status in the United States with the intention of working and achieving a better standard of living than their country can offer them. With that objective in mind, they often send money to their relatives who stayed in their homeland so that they can also be benefactors of the remittances.

One of them is Héctor Ramírez, who sent a succulent figure to his mother to build a house and she gave him an unpleasant surprise.

From your account (@hectorramirez731) from TikTok, this migrant is dedicated to sharing what his daily life is like in the northern country, with different anecdotes about his progress and family issues. There he decided to reveal by this means the worst betrayal that his mother did to him. The video quickly went viral: it garnered, in a few minutes, 16 million views and more than 17,000 comments.

According to what he said, he sent him 100,000 Mexican pesos (a little more than 5,000 US dollars) to start building his own house. But she decided to put the money sent to another use.

This was expressed by the tiktoker on the social network, where he told. “I [estoy] Sad, because I sent money to my town to start building my little house, and my mom lent my brother 70,000 ($3,600) to buy a car.”

“When he comes to the north, he pays me,” Hector finished off with an emoji that expresses anger. Later, he interacted with his followers and stressed that he was “scolded” for claiming the money and questioning the action his mother took to give that money to her brother.

The answers to the migrant

Netizens were quick to react and made it clear what action should be taken from now on. “Just give blessings to your mom and brother. Say goodbye to them and cut ties because their love is Western Union or Moneygram”; “You don’t even have to trust your mother”; “My mom sold part of my land to buy a car for my brother. Now there is neither land nor car”; “Unfortunately that’s how the family is and the mothers do have spoiled”; and “Sometimes the family is the one that hurts us the most”, are some of the messages that appear in the comment box.
