After the departure of Adán Augusto López Hernández from Morena’s coordination in the Senate, a series of changes are expected in the administrative team of this Chamber and in the bench.
Among the first appointments that Ignacio Mier, the new coordinator, will have to make are those corresponding to the vice-coordinations of the parliamentary group, since at least the one he had was left headless.
However, the changes will not be immediate. Mier stated that the worst thing he can do right now is make hasty decisions.
There must be a calm evaluation based on the results, stated last Sunday the senator from Puebla, who this Tuesday will have the first meeting of the Political Coordination Board, in which the legislative issues that will be addressed during the week must be approved.
They support a woman taking the general vice coordination position
In the cherry bench there are voices that propose that a woman take over the position of general vice-coordination, since they consider that there are senators who have the profile, the capacity and the patience to deal with all the members of the cherry bench.
Throughout the legislature, senators Sasil de León, Higinio Martínez and Cuauhtémoc Ochoa have served at various times as vice-coordinators of Morena.
The Chihuahua legislator Andrea Chávez has been the spokesperson, who is mentioned in groups of the Chamber as one of the most affected by the resignation of López Hernández, given the closeness they have.
