An agreement, signed this Monday the 2nd, between the Ministry of Social Development (Mides) and the Transamerican group will allow 10% of the company’s payroll to be integrated with program participants from the Secretary of State after a selection process by part of the signature. The goal is to complement public and private efforts to achieve user independence and autonomy, Lema said.
The activity, held at the ministerial headquarters, was attended by the head of Mides, Martín Lema; the undersecretary, Andrea Brugman; the manager of the business group, Valeria Álvarez, and the general supervisor, Rocío Paiva.
Transamerican works in the management of projects of various kinds, among which the execution of civil works, construction and assembly of telecommunications infrastructure and drinking water networks, development of transport services, logistics and supply of specialized personnel stand out.
In his speech, Lema pointed out that the objective of the so-called Mides Quotas is to generate job opportunities for users of the portfolio’s programs, in order to provide them with the necessary tools for their future autonomy.
The agreement implies that 10% of the firm’s payroll is made up of people from the aforementioned group. The initiative will be implemented through the selection processes, which will not generate expenditure for the Secretary of State.
Cleaning, maintenance of green areas and other trades are some of the items that those who join the company will be able to access, he said.
