The Meduca clarified that this provision does not apply to the teaching or administrative staff of educational centers, who must continue with the provision of their inherent services at the beginning of the 2022 school year.
The Ministry of Education (Meduca) announced that, after taking into consideration the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, as mitigation measures for the Covid-19 pandemic, in areas where large numbers of people converge, students at the premedia and average of official schools – from six educational regions of the country – will start the 2022 school year next Monday, March 14.
In other words, this measure will apply to the educational regions of Panama Center, Panama East, Panama North, Panama West (Arraiján and La Chorrera districts), San Miguelito and Colón (head).

The regional directorates of education, together with the supervisors of school zones, will carry out the accompaniment, supervision and monitoring so that the start of classes is carried out successfully and without setbacks.
