This will include the formation of a new special committee, which will carry out the third call, until the arrival of shipments of agricultural inputs in August.
“On Monday we are going to present a roadmap or timeline so that the most important thing, urea, organic fertilizers and island guano are present in August, the start date of the agricultural campaign. For example, from the first week of August synthetic fertilizer (urea) must arrive at the three ports and that has all the technical specifications”indicated the owner of the Midagri.
On the other hand, Alencastre today called for dialogue and consultation with the representatives of the cargo transport unions to find solutions and avoid carrying out a stoppage of their activities, scheduled to start next week.
“There is a work table where we are working with the leaders of the carriers and with the agricultural union organizations, to focus on a set of common agendas with concerted measures”held.
On the situation of the markets and the threat of a strike by cargo carriers, the minister announced that his ministry carries out permanent monitoring of the daily evolution of prices and supply volumes of the wholesale supply centers in Lima.
