Microbuses concentrate 61% of robberies with violence in CDMX transportation

At the same time, it means an increase of 65.1% with 86 more people victims of robbery with violence in minibuses and peseros in the capital compared to last year, since 132 cases were registered in the first four months of 2021.

In second place in passenger robberies with violence is public transport in general with 86 cases, followed by the RTP with 25 cases, while the Metro registered 16 cases, the Metrobús 10 and the Trolleybus 6.

With one year in operation, the Cablebús only has one case of robbery with violence between January and April of this year.

The minibuses and peseros are located in the transport with more violent robberies against passengers while the capital government has launched a series of review operations for the concession transport units, after having authorized the increase of one peso in the rate from the past June, 15.
