“The Council has already spoken and approved an emergency law in which the mayor has to prioritize a change in the system because Santa Cruz de la Sierra deserves it. “He has to work on a proposal in the short and medium term”said the president of the Municipal Council, Silvana Mucarzel, describing the determination of the micreros as illegal. “What is being seen with the issue of Fejuve and the transport businessmen is illegal, because they are related to the mayor and are against the people of Santa Cruz, against modernity,” he added.
It states that the correct thing is for the Municipal Executive to carry out a cost study and present alternatives for new rates so that the Council can analyze them and determine any adjustment through an express rule.

The president of the Council states that political agreements cannot be allowed to try to impose a new rate of public transportation.

For his part, the mayor ratified his proposal to increase the fare for seniors, between 2.18 and Bs 2.37, after two days of work at the technical tables with transporters and neighborhood organizations.
