The deceased were identified as Juan de los Santos Peralta Barrientos, 36, who was the councilman’s driver, and his partnerMarielis Anabel Vargas Villalona, 27 years old.
The wounded are: Erlin Alberto Gómez, councilor for the People’s Force and transport manager for the Santiago Rodríguez-Santiago route. In addition, Eduardo de Jesús Espinal is wounded.
