MICM certifies 29 entrepreneurs during workshop closing in Moca

Santo Domingo.- He Ministry of Industry, Trade and SMEs (MICM) certified a total of 29 leaders during the closing of the Entrepreneurial Communities Development Program (PDCE), an activity that took place in the event hall of the Strategic Development Plan of the Espaillat Province (PEDEPE).

The entrepreneurs They received their certificates after presenting an action plan for the local ecosystem, with innovative and creative ideas.

The PDCE is a program that aims to train future drivers of entrepreneurial ecosystems in the different provinces of the Dominican Republic.

The Espaillat province is the third province impacted in this year 2024 with a total of 144 participants impacted in the three provinces, with a series of workshops developed over 3 consecutive days and which had the support of the coordinator of the Articulation Division, Delfina Reynoso and the coordinator of the Incubation Division, Mrs. Patricia Rubio, among other MICM collaborators.

The closing ceremony was attended by the provincial representative of MICM in Espaillat, Ms. Elba Grullón, as well as the person in charge of Promotion of Innovative Companies, Mr. Román Miranda and the coordinator of the Incubation Division, Ms. Patricia Rubio, who offered guidance on the services of the institution, ending with the delivery of certificates to the 29 participants.

“Thank you all for participating en masse, for accompanying us, for sharing this great meeting here with our facilitator Delfina, with so much ability. The truth is that we have benefited from her, she has a development, a professional capacity, may God bless her and continue to strengthen her, so that she continues to impart and continue giving you that push,” said Mrs. Elba Grullón.

Likewise, Ms. Patricia Rubio told the participants that they only need to request via email, to the Vice Ministry of Promotion of MSMEs, the training sessions they need in Espaillat, such as Business Plan, Business Model, Financial Education for MSMEs, among others.

Mr. Román Miranda, motivated by saying that the intention is for them to know that there is a ministry working day and night for the entire country, since they were also carrying out the Mipymes Route in La Romana, so there were personalities who were not present at the closing of the program.

PDCE training has been carried out in the provinces of Santa Barbara de Samaná with 44 impacted, Monte Plata 71 impacted, Espaillat- Moca 29 impacted, it is expected that this year the work agenda will be completed in other areas of the country.
