Michael Chen on Colón: ‘We need political will, from private companies to try to influence’

The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Colón, Michael Chen, spoke about the realities, challenges and opportunities of the sector in said province, assuring that political, personal, governmental and private company will is needed to try to influence.

In his opinion, to change the negative image that is had at the international level, “these are small acts that, although they seem insignificant, can make big changes, such as disposing of garbage properly, respecting the laws, making decisions based on ethics and morals; It is these small actions that have an impact and make great changes at the level of Colón and the country.”

He affirmed that for many years the colonense has been stigmatized very negatively, things are attributed to him that some are true, elsewhere not. “This is a golden opportunity for the private company, the National Government, the Civil Society and the Local Government to change this perception and stigma that Colonenses have”, he specified.
