MIAMI, United States. – The Cuban Democratic Directorate announces the presentation, on December 15, of the book Cuba: the doctrine of liesby Dr. Orlando Gutiérrez-Boronat, coordinator of the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance.
During the presentation, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the American Museum of the Cuban DiasporaIn Miami, Gutiérrez-Boronat will also report on the efforts made recently in favor of the freedom of Cuba, during his tour of various countries.
In his text, the coordinator of the Assembly of the Cuban Resistance makes a detailed historical analysis of the nature of totalitarianism and how it interacts and affects religion, philosophy, national identity and individual liberties.
Cuba: the doctrine of lies It also recounts the history of the Island before and after the establishment of the regime communist, from concrete examples on the application of the agrarian reform, and other key events of the country from which the Cuban regime was consolidating its repressive system.
As Boronat declared to NTD, “the book is based on a deep historical and conceptual investigation on how what was established in Cuba in 1959 was not a socialist movement that emerged from the people, but rather an occupation of Cuba for the benefit, for the use of a humane control agenda that goes well beyond Cuba.”
The political scientist, born in Havana in 1965, is a doctor in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of Miami. In addition, he has a postgraduate and bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications from Florida International University (FIU).
