Later, after processing the casesthey will repatriate migrants to the countries from which they fled in order to gain entry to the United States.

“If there is a person who is at the border, especially now that it is so cold, obviously we act in a humanitarian manner, we are not going to leave people out in the open. Then, we act in a humanitarian manner and seek repatriation to their countries if they are foreigners,” he said.

However, as reported, they intend to dialogue with the United States immigration agencies “to be able to find all the protocols and mechanisms.”

In his speech, Sheinbaum emphasized that after the cancellation of the asylum process through CBP One, migrants who arrive at the border will not be able to enter the United States, and expressed: “It is much better that they return to their country of origin.”

Given the immigration crisis that has been unleashed in northern Mexico with the elimination of these programs and the reinstatement of “Stay in Mexico”, which forces non-Mexican immigrants to wait in the Aztec country while they process asylum cases in the United States ., the Mexican Government will install nine migrant care centers in Tamaulipas, Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila and Nuevo León.

The authorized centers will have registration and reception services, health care, documentation, accommodation and food, provided by the Secretariat of National Defense and the Secretariat of the Navy, he detailed.
