The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced this Friday that the selection of Mexico will face the next October 12th Valencia, in a friendly match in the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla, city in the center of the Latin American country.
In a press release, the FMF confirmed the duel, the penultimate one with which Mexico coach Javier Aguirre will prepare for the Concacaf Nations League, which will be faced in November.
The duel will take place on the FIFA date of October, in which the Mexicans will face each other days later, on the 15th, USA, at the Akron Stadium in Guadalajara.
Before facing Valencia and the United States, Mexico has two commitments in September against New Zealandthis Saturday, and Canadanext Tuesday.

The match against the New Zealanders will be the debut of Aguirre, in his third stint with El Tri, which he led in the 2002 and 2010 World Cups, and now he will do so in the 2026 World Cup, in which Mexico is the host country along with the United States and Canada.
“He Valencia CF will take advantage of its presence in the country to reach out to its fans on the other side of the Atlantic, who will be able to see our players led by Rubén Baraja up close,” the Spanish club published in a statement.
