In search of investments they highlight security
In front of tour operators, businessmen and investors, the director of the National Tourism Promotion Fund (Fonatur), Sebastián Ramírez, presented a portfolio of projects in Mexico: Nayarit, Cozumel, Huatulco, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, are destinations where there are opportunities to invest in hotels, infrastructure, shopping centers.
And as in any sale, the benefits must be highlighted, and here, political stability and investments in infrastructure by the federal administration were part of the country’s presentation letter.
The former leader of Morena in Mexico City highlighted the six new passenger railway lines, the expansion of the Nayarit Airport, Puerto Escondido and Mexico City Airport and the train to the Felipe Ángeles Airport so that tourists can move easily.
“We are a country with stability, in a complex world, more complex than we like and what investors like, Mexico today is a country with stability, financial and political, that is an advantage,” he said.
And to the country’s advantages, Ramírez also added the security results in the first year of President Claudia Sheinbaum with a 40% drop in high-impact crimes.
“There is still a long way to go, I know there is a long way to go, but it is a small light of hope to be able to move forward towards new news, for the news in the world to change and not only be about security issues,” said the Mexican official.
Between mariachis, catrinas and crafts
