The Ministry of Health reported 3,820 new infections and 45 deaths due to Covid-19.
Until that Saturday, September 3, Mexico links 7 million 40,191 positive cases and 329,617 deaths due to the virus.
The Ministry of Health said that to this day 24,147 active cases of Covid-19 have been detected.
The institution recalled that active cases are considered to be those infections that started symptoms in the last 14 days.
The capital of the Republic remains the entity with the highest number of Covid-19 infections, followed by Baja California Sur, Baja California, Aguascalientes, Querétaro and Nuevo León.
These states, plus Guanajuato, Tabasco and Puebla account for 65% of all new infections.
