Mexico registers 9,914 new cases of Covid-19 and 56 deaths

The Health Secretary (Ssa) reported this Saturday that the number of patients from Covid-19 accumulated in Mexico so far in the pandemic reached 6 million 925,668. Confirmed deaths already total 328,724, the agency detailed.

The new data means that at today’s information cutoff, 9,914 new cases and 56 deaths were registered, according to the daily technical report.

There are 84,457 active cases in the country (those who presented symptoms within the last 14 days) with an incidence rate of 64.9 per 100,000 inhabitants. A real number of 89,093 active Covid-19 patients is calculated.

The 10 entities with the highest incidence rates are Mexico City, Baja California Sur, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Tlaxcala, Aguascalientes, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Coahuila and Colima, in that order.
