Mexico registers 17,986 new cases of Covid-19 and 93 deaths

The Health Secretary (Ssa) raised this Friday to 6 million 839,732 the number of cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Mexico so far this pandemic. The official number of cumulative deaths rose to 328,221, the agency reported.

These data mean that at the cutoff of the information, 17,986 new cases were confirmed, in addition to 93 deaths, according to the technical report.

According to information from the Secretariat, there are 124,932 active cases in Mexico (those who presented symptoms in the most recent 14 days), with an incidence rate of 96 per 100,000 inhabitants. 130,927 active cases are estimated.

The 10 states with the highest incidence rates are: Mexico City (which leads the accumulated cases), Baja California Sur, San Luis Potosí, Tlaxcala, Colima, Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Querétaro and Sinaloa.
