The Health Secretary (Ssa) updated this Friday to 5 million 489,127 the official number of cases of Covid-19 that have been confirmed so far pandemic. The number of deaths rose to 317,683, according to the daily technical report.
Compared to yesterday’s records, the numbers published tonight imply increases of 15,638 infections and 380 new deaths.
At the cut off of information, there are 54,162 active cases registered (those that had symptoms in the most recent 14 days and therefore are still contagious) with an incidence rate of 41.6 per 100,000 inhabitants.
The entities with the highest incidence rates in the country are Baja California Sur, Mexico City (at the head in accumulated cases), Colima, Aguascalientes, Tlaxcala, Nayarit, Querétaro, Sinaloa, Puebla and Campeche.
