The Balsas Basin in Mexico is one of the most marginalized areas in the country, making it highly vulnerable to climate change.
This project will transform rural development incentives by emphasizing the conservation of forest resources and the strengthening of local institutions and capacities.

E-Motion
The second approval is part of the E-Motion project, worth 125.1 million dollars, which seeks to promote electromobility and low-carbon transportation in nine Latin American countries, including Mexico, the official explained.
This project will benefit 9 million people and mitigate 7.5 million tons of CO2 over 20 years, improving health and air quality.
