In the last six years, the commercial exchange between the Dominican Republic and Mexico amounted to US$6,139.0 million. At the same time, the Dominican goal is to reach US$82 million, the result of exports to Mexican soil, during the next four years, reported the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominican).
He explained that Mexican investment in the country amounted to US$1,229.1 million, between 2015 and September 2021. The main recipient sectors of this investment were real estate, commerce and industry.

Julio Rodríguez Trigueros, director of the Dominican-Mexican Chamber of Commerce (Cadomex) and executive director of the Binational Chamber of Business and Services Mexico-Dominican Republic (Cabimex-RD), led the visit, whose objective was to explore the conditions of the country to receive a trade mission of Mexican companies.
Accompanied by the ambassador of Mexico in the Dominican Republic, Carlos Peñafiel Soto, delegates from Cabimex-RD, Cadomex and the Network of Foreign Trade Promoters, visited the headquarters of the Association of Multiple Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA), where they were received by executives of the union, led by its president Rosanna Ruiz.
