Units of the Mexico City Passenger Transport Network support the transfer of users from the Zapata station to Universidad in both directions.
The service is provisional from Indios Verdes to Zapata on Line 3.
System personnel are working in the area of the tracks to restore full service, authorities reported.
Users took to social media to show that the trains they were travelling on were stopped for several minutes in the tunnels.
