The main financial products that Mexicans have are payroll, savings and checking accounts, as well as government support.
Bank branches are the main channel where these financial products are contracted, followed by work centers and financial apps.
Financial inclusion went from 54 million people to 56.7 million between 2018 and 2021.
Men access more financial products. The ENIF also highlighted that men have more access to financial products such as savings accounts and insurance.
The data shows that while 60% of women have a savings account, 71% of men have this same product.
Men also make more savings in formal instruments with 25% of them while only 18% of women make this type of savings.
