The stock markets of Mexico They had a positive performance this Friday, given a better global environment for risk assets. The local stock indexes gained again after having interrupted a streak of four consecutive days with gains yesterday.
The leading index S&P/BMV CPI of the Mexican stock exchange (BMV), made up of the 35 most liquid shares in the domestic market, rose 0.96% to 50,578.09 units. The FTSE BIVAof the Institutional Stock Market (Biva), advanced 0.91% to 1,055.39 units.
Within the benchmark, most components ended the session with gains, with 31 stocks in the green and four in the red. The best performances of the session were from Pinfra, with 3.52%; OMA, with 3.05%, and Grupo Carso, with 2.92 percent.
With gains in four out of five days this week, the S&P/BMV IPC index posted an advance of 1.91% from a close of 49,630.15 units last Friday.
