The stock markets of Mexico They made strong gains this week. The local indices jumped this Friday, in line with their peers USAdue to a greater global appetite for risk that even erased the strong fall accumulated in the previous week.
The referential index S&P/BMV CPI of the Mexican stock exchange (BMV), which brings together the most liquid shares in the domestic market, gained 1.60% this Friday and closed at 54,182.27 points. For the week, the leading index accumulated a return of 2.97 percent.
The index FTSE BIVA of the Institutional Stock Exchange (Biva), with a similar component that also includes the behavior of Fibras, recorded an advance of 1.47% to 1,126.32 units. During the week the index accumulated a gain of 2.56 percent.
Within the S&P/BMV IPC, most stocks ended the day in the green, with only two of its 36 components in the green. The titles of the mining company Grupo México stood out, with an advance of 4.65%, and those of BanBajío, with 4.15 percent.
