In accordance with the work and support of the governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, and the mayoress Joana Sánchez, the youth of the National Directorate of the Venezuelan Ecologist Movement (Meven)They celebrated their 11th anniversary.
Said celebration was carried out with educational talks to raise awareness about the climate crisis and preservation of life on the planet, which were aimed at students of basic and diversified education.
For his part, Meven’s sentinel guide in the region, Danger Castillo, stressed that these conferences are part of the national guidelines to strengthen and promote the ecological sense around climate change.
“Together with more than 180 students of basic and diversified education, we discussed the causes, effects, consequences and current state of the climate crisis, in order to offer and collect contributions that contribute to our revolutionary process to preserve the environment,” he said.
In the same way, he stated that the participation and fundamental role of President Nicolás Maduro was discussed at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change 2022 (COP-27), held in Egypt.
To close the anniversary celebration, the reforestation and beautification of the green areas of the Caridad del Cobre urbanization of the Alfredo Pacheco Miranda parish was carried out.
It should be noted that the activity was accompanied by the Director of Social Management of the Mayor’s Office, Carlos Guzmán, the deputy to the National Assembly, Manuel Hernández, among others.
It should be mentioned that these activities are conducive to the recovery and beautification of important urban green spaces.
