The party organized to celebrate the start of operation of the Line 2C The Santo Domingo Metro was suspended this Tuesday afternoon due to the rains that affected the Los Alcarrizos municipality.
The event, called Metro Festtook place in the esplanade of the Pablo Adón station, where hundreds of people had gathered since the afternoon to enjoy the artistic billboard.
The celebration had begun with the presentation of Chiquito Team Bandwho encouraged the public with several of his hits. However, rainfall forced the activity to stop for safety reasons.
The show also had scheduled performances by Sergio Vargas, The Rosario BrothersChimbala and Omega the Strongamong other artists.
Until nowit has not been reported if the activity will be rescheduled.
