The courtyard workshop of the First Line of the Bogota Metronow has a mobile plant to produce the concrete that is used in the work.

According to the mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, so far the work represents a 22% progress regarding the preparation of the land for the Patio Taller. “We have advanced three times more than scheduled and this allows us, this year, to finish all the adaptation of the ground”.
Currently, the mobile concrete plant is in final technical tests to come into operation in the next few days, and will allow this material to be supplied to the work being built in the El Corzo sector, in the town of Bosa.
“Thanks to Argos who is supporting us in this process of the concrete plant. Before, we had to bring the supply from Puente Aranda to here, now we save ourselves that traffic and congestion because we have the complex inside here and the mixers operate right here, which allows us not to affect any neighbors or congest more roads”, indicated the mayor López.

The mobile concrete production plant has an installed capacity of less than 10,000 m3/month. In it, specifically in fiberglass and plastic tanks, the additives and water necessary for the preparation of the material are stored.
The courtyard workshop Metro is equivalent to 50 stadiums like El Campín and it is the parking, maintenance and departure point for the 30 trains of the First Line of the Metro that will travel the 24-kilometre viaduct, starting in 2028.
