The entity reported that due to the effects of atmospheric system in the national territory, under alert is San Pedro de Macorís, Mount Silver, the Great Saint DominicSan Cristóbal, Peravia and Barahona.
In his weather bulletin, the Indomet detailed that the trough It will produce downpours from morning hours in areas located on the south coast of the country, AltagraciaLa Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Saint ChristopherPeravia, AzuaBarahona, Pedernales, Greater Santo Domingo.
However, he pointed out that in the afternoon this system will be moving away from the forecast areawhile an air mass with lower humidity content is established over the national territory, therefore, only isolated showers and possible thunderstorms in towns in the Central mountain range and the northeast of the nation that will decrease as the night begins.

Given the occurrence of rain, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology urged the operators of the fragile, small and medium boats in the caribbean coastto navigate with caution and close to the coastal perimeter without venturing out to sea due to abnormal wind and waves.
