Santo Domingo.- The rains They will continue in towns in the north, south, southeast and Central Cibao, so three provinces are on “yellow alert”, and another eight, plus the National District, are on green, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported this Monday.
The provinces in yellow are Espaillat, Puerto Plata and María Trinidad Sánchez, where precipitation has been recorded in the last 24 hours.
Meteorology reported that the rains will continue over the provinces in yellow, plus Samaná, Duarte, Hato Mayor, El Seibo and Monte Plata from early Monday to Tuesday, due to the arrival of a trough that will combine with the remnants of a frontal system .
