Santo Domingo. – During this Monday afternoon, some provinces of the country will be impacted by rains due to the incidence of a trough located to the north of the national geography, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
According to the entity, the occurrence of scattered rainfall is expected, weak to moderateuntil the early hours of the night, over towns in the Great Saint Dominic, The Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samana, Maria Trinidad Sanchezand Duarte.
Rains are also expected in San Cristóbal, Mount SilverSan Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, PeraviaAzua, San José de Ocoa, La Vega, Monsignor Nouel and Santiago.
As for the temperaturethe entity indicated that it will remain pleasant due to winter and the fresh northeast windmainly in mountainous areas and in the morning and evening hours. In that sense, it warns about the occurrence of fog or mist during the early hours of the morning in different mountainous areas and some valleys in the interior of the country.
He stressed that the minimum temperatures will range between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, while that the maximum temperatures will be between 27 °C and 29 °C.
