The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) forecast isolated showers for today in the towns of La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samaná, Barahona and the Pedernales province.
The organization that predicts weather conditions also reported that rain will occur in the morning and that in the afternoon there will be optimal conditions for enjoying outdoor activities in almost the entire country.
Hot temperatures
Regarding temperatures, Meteorology predicts that they will be hot during the day, due to the effects of the predominant wind from the southeast, and low at night and early morning, especially in the mountains and valleys, where episodes of fog could occur.
Waves on the Atlantic coast
On the Atlantic Coast, Indomet recommends fragile, small and medium-sized vessels navigate with caution, from Miches, in El Seibo, to Cabo Engaño, in La Altagracia, due to abnormal wind and waves. The rest of the coast will be normal.
