The president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, assured this Saturday that the arrival of Lionel Messi and his team, Inter Miamito play a match on February 7 is “a clear sign of international confidence” in the country.
“Ecuador welcomes the Inter Miami already Lionel Messi. His arrival is a clear example of international trust in our country: an Ecuador that opens its doors to large investments, high-level sports and world-class events,” Noboa wrote in his X account.
“Welcome to Ecuador,” the president added in a message in which he shared a publication made by the American team in which it confirmed its tour of three Latin American countries, including Ecuador, which will be called ‘Champions Tour’.
Inter Miami will arrive in Ecuador to play a friendly match against the Barcelona of Guayaquil at the Banco Pichincha stadium.
