Mexico City, Mexico.- Lionel Messi already has a huge mural in the popular Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. The work was created by the Venezuelan plastic artist and muralist Arlex Campos.
When presenting it, Campos wrote on his Twitter account: “I have the honor of making Messi’s first mural with the Inter Miami shirt, in the heart of Wynwood. Sport once again making history in my art”.
in conversation with La Patilla.comArlex Campos commented that upon learning the news that the Argentine idol will play in inter miami he got the idea right away.
“I said this is the moment, believer that God knows how he does things. It was an intense week after the news until its execution and completion, ”he expressed.
The artist preferred to keep his plans silent and only discussed them with close friends who helped him in the execution and also had the support of the official bar of the inter miami.
The work was made using the stencil technique, a type of printing or decoration from a template with a cut out drawing or pattern.
“We went through a design proposal, execution and stencil cutting and then execution of the mural,” Arlex told the aforementioned outlet and especially thanked the photographer Rigger Shaman, who supported him with all the audiovisual content. “Thanks to him they are seeing these photos and videos everywhere,” she said.
With more than 94,000 followers on his Twitter account (@ArlexCampos), who also works as a tattoo artist, he stands out for his peculiar style and great attention to detail.
