Messi arrived in Argentina and is getting ready for the match against Venezuela

The captain of the Argentine team, Lionel Messi, arrived this Tuesday to Buenos Aires to join the albiceleste squad, which under the orders of Lionel Scaloni will face Venezuela on Friday for the last double date of the South American qualifier for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Messi returns to the Albiceleste, qualified for the World Cup together with Brazil, to face the eliminated Venezuela, on March 25 at the ‘Bombonera’ in Buenos Aires, and Ecuador, on March 29 in Guayaquil.

The captain was absent from the call on the double date previous January and February last when he had just rejoined PSG after contracting covid-19 in December in Argentina.
