The expert explains that the central theme that the head of state must be developed is about the fight against citizen insecurity, since with a clear strategy on this problem, businessmen will consider the possibility of investing in Peru.
Nunes recalled that in her speech last year, the president did refer to the issue of citizen security; however, she failed to reduce crime rates.
Furthermore, the Interior portfolio, which is the institution in charge of implementing the strategy against crime, has been one of the most unstable in his cabinet, with six ministers during his administration.

Dina Boluarte must make changes in foreign policy
For his part, the internationalist and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Mackay, considered that Dina Boluarte should do a “reengineering” in her handling of foreign policy.
“There should be a re-engineering of foreign policy and its laboratory, that is, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The mistakes made in the last year have been glaring,” he said.
Rodríguez Mackay referred to the incident with Mexico and the visa request for Peruvians; as a measure of reciprocity, Peru implemented the same, but backed off.
“The request for reciprocity with Mexico. Once Mexico imposed visa requirements on us to enter its country, we retreated and this retreat shows us as a weak country, a country that does not know how to value itself, does not know how to love itself and does not know how to have dignity,” he said.

“We cannot yet measure the results because Xi Jinping will have to come to Peru to reap the reciprocity.
