the president of People’s Action (AP), Messiah Guevara, indicated that the objective of his political group is to participate in this year’s election process in all the regions and municipalities in which he can, in order to have an important presence at the national level.
Along these lines, he said that Popular Action will soon call for internal elections through the “one militant one vote” modality with the participation of all those registered.
“Popular Action, at the moment, has one objective: according to the planning that we have been developing, let us participate in all the regions and all the municipalities that we can”, he told the Andean Agency.

He announced that as president of the party he will convene a plenary meeting for January 21, in order to consolidate the agreements and actively participate in the electoral process.
“We are going to convene this plenary only and exclusively, as we have always done, to set the rules and internal regulations to be able to participate, we always did it that way, and this has to be on January 21 to meet the internal deadline that It’s five business days.” assured.
Mayor of Lima
When asked about the possible candidates for mayor of Lima, he said that the mayor of San Borja, Alberto Tejada, will be participating; the mayor of Ate, Edde Cuéllar; and the former mayor of Lima, Luis Enrique Gálvez.
